Creating a safe online space for young adults to explore and understand their experiences.
Feeling overwhelmed? Let’s talk.
Hey, I’m Katie
I tailor my methods to meet the unique needs of each child and family. With fifteen years of experience in schools, group homes, and in-home counseling, I have developed skills to support youth during tough times. I focus on assisting young adults aged 13-18 who are experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, drinking coffee, and spending time with my husband and twin daughters.
Let’s talk.
Therapy isn’t just for adults—teens can benefit from it too. It’s a place where you can:
Talk Freely: Share what’s on your mind without fear of judgment.
Find Clarity: Understand your feelings and what’s causing them.
Develop Skills: Learn coping strategies to manage stress and build confidence

FAQs
-
Therapy can be costly, and I understand that. Insurance companies often take a long time to reimburse, sometimes up to a year, which makes it hard for small businesses to operate. I can provide a superbill, which is a form you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

In-person sessions might work better for some clients. I have held virtual sessions with young adults for three years and have successfully engaged them using games and therapy tools.

The best way to help your child in therapy is to listen to them. If they don’t want to talk, still listen. Forcing them into therapy can backfire and produce negative results.
